Park Ave Cryotherapy is a full service wellness and recovery center located in Maitland, Florida and was started by Terrie Makin, LMT who has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Florida since 2012 and is an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). 

As a person who suffered with chronic migraines for many years, I was always looking for ways to treat my headaches naturally and without medication. It was in 2011 that I discovered massage therapy was the best medicine. It was so good, I enrolled at the Central Florida School of Massage Therapy. After graduating in 2012, it was then  I learned that I truly loved helping people feel better.

In 2015, after working in many different massage modalities and studios, I stepped out and started my very own massage practice where I specialized in treatments for chronic pain, injury, stress reduction, athletic recovery, PTSD, pain management, sports recovery and wellness maintenance. 

After experiencing the benefits of cryotherapy, compression therapy and low light laser therapy for myself, I knew this was something I wanted to incorporate into my everyday practice.
